Job Summary:
The Content/Copywriter is responsible for creating engaging and persuasive content that aligns with our clients’ branding, marketing, and promotional objectives. This role demands creativity, strong writing skills, and an understanding of digital marketing strategies. As a Content/Copywriter, you will produce high-quality written materials across various platforms, actively participate in brainstorming sessions for client projects, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content and Copy Creation: Develop compelling, clear, and persuasive content across multiple formats, including blog posts, social media copy, email campaigns, website copy, product descriptions, and case studies.
- Brainstorming and Ideation: Actively participate in brainstorming sessions for upcoming client projects, contributing creative ideas to drive engagement and meet client objectives.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and refine content to ensure it meets the highest standards of clarity, grammar, and alignment with client brand guidelines.
- Research and Audience Understanding: Conduct thorough research to understand client industries, audiences, and competitors. Integrate insights into content to improve relevance and effectiveness.
- SEO and Keyword Optimization: Apply SEO best practices to content development, optimizing content for relevant keywords and phrases to enhance visibility and search engine rankings.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the Content Lead, Creative team, and Account Managers to align content strategies with project objectives and client expectations.
- Content Calendar Management: Support the management of the content calendar to ensure all deliverables are produced and delivered on time.
- Performance Monitoring: Use analytics tools to monitor content performance, providing insights on engagement and suggesting improvements based on data.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in content creation or copywriting, ideally within a digital marketing or agency setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Writing and Creativity: Excellent writing, editing, and creative thinking skills, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of content and copywriting work.
- SEO and Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and content marketing strategies.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.
- Communication and Teamwork: Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
